Subscription Cost Calculator
Add each subscription with what it costs and how often it bills. The totals update as you type. Tick “cancel” on any you are thinking of dropping to see what that saves.
Everything runs in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent anywhere.
How it works
Yearly cost = weekly × 52, monthly × 12, or the yearly price. Monthly = yearly ÷ 12. 5-year = yearly × 5. Prices are assumed not to change, and tax and trial offers are not modelled.
Worked example (made-up numbers)
These amounts are examples only, not typical prices. Suppose you list $2 a week, $15 a month and $60 a year. That is $104 + $180 + $60 = $344 a year, or $28.67 a month and $1,720 over 5 years. Cancelling the $15 monthly one saves $180 a year, or $900 over 5 years.
What to do next
Cancelling only helps if the money goes somewhere. Put the saving into your dated savings plan to see how much sooner you reach a goal. For other costs, see how to cut expenses.
Frequently asked questions
How are weekly and yearly subscriptions converted?
Weekly amounts are multiplied by 52 to get a year, monthly amounts by 12, and yearly amounts are used as they are. The monthly figure is the yearly cost divided by 12.
Why show a 5-year total?
Small charges repeat. The 5-year figure is simply the yearly total × 5, assuming the prices never change. Real prices often do, so treat it as a rough size check.
What does the cancel checkbox do?
It removes that subscription from the “if you keep” totals and adds it to the savings totals. It does not cancel anything for you.
Does this find my subscriptions for me?
No. Nothing is connected to your accounts. Check your bank and card statements and add each recurring charge by hand.
Are the example rows real prices?
No. The page starts empty. The worked example below uses made-up round numbers for illustration only.
